Viva Salchata has been a cornerstone of the Sacramento dance community for the last four years and we are celebrating our fourth anniversary with a bang! We have invited some of the world's greatest artists to teach for 6 hours of dance training on November 23 & 24 at the new Amped Dance Studio at 5154 Auburn Blvd in Sacramento. Following instruction we have a social starting at 8:30pm which features dancing, a jack & jill competition, and performances.
We want to keep class sizes small, so will only be selling passes to a maximum of 25 leads & follows. This makes for the highest quality learning environment.

Nick & Ivonne - Instagram Link - Dancers and instructors for La Fuerza Dance Company out of New York, Nick is an international superstar as a dancer on La Fuerza Kingsmen. He is joined by his partner Ivonne, director of the Bestia NYC Ladies bachata team. They will be teaching an hour of sensual bachata at 4pm on Saturday & Sunday
Dogukan Avdac - Instagram Link - A dancer and choreographer from Ankara, Turkey, Dogukan has recently moved to Sacramento and is our featured local instructor. He specializes in high level salsa on2 training and will be teaching the 3pm class.
Erika Saucillo Rivera - Instagram Link - A paragon of feminine strength & empowerment from Los Angeles, Erika was director to the West Coast's greatest dance company, Quest Salchata Crew and has grown to international levels of fame most recently being featured in Tokyo, Hawaii, and Calgary. She will be teaching spins and technique starting at 2pm.
Includes all workshops Saturday & Sunday as well as the social on Saturday evening. Workshops are from 2-5pm, and social is 8:30pm-1am
Just social dancing from 8:30pm-1am! Night features performances, jack & jill competition, and giveaways for the California Dance Festival!
